After working in Human Resources, Dave is working on his Ph.D. in Political Economy and Sociology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Dave has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Master’s Degree in Economics from the State University of New York.
Being primarily a Sociologist in the tradition of the Frankfurt School, and a Post-Keynesian Economist, Dave is currently working on new research on Socioeconomic theory on the household’s ability to survive and reproduce within an institutionalist framework in the post-2008 world. Dave has worked on inequality, child poverty, urban sociology & economics, public policy, and phenomenology focusing on symbolic interaction within labour.
Dave also has an extensive background in non-profit human services.
